This test will give you an idea of your overall testosterone level. Not as accurate as a total and free testosterone level, but it's a good basic test if you have any of the symptoms listed below.

Product Detail:

Testosterone levels tend to start decreasing in males after age 30. In healthy men, testosterone levels (also known as T levels) between 300 ng/dL and 1000 ng/dL are considered normal.

Signs and symptoms of Low Testosterone may include:

  • Fatigue or decreased energy
  • Reduced sex drive (libido)
  • Sexual dysfunction (weak erections, fewer erections)
  • Depressed mood
  • Increased body fat
  • Reduced muscle mass and strength
  • Decreased bone strength
  • Loss of body hair (less frequent shaving)
  • Hot flashes, sweats
The Endocrine Society has identified several conditions commonly associated with low testosterone:

  • End stage renal disease
  • Moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a lung disease
  • Infertility
  • Osteoporosis
  • Type 2 Diabetes
If you have any of these medical conditions identified by the Endocrine Society, you may be at a higher risk for low testosterone. The Endocrine Society also recommends that all men with type 2 diabetes have their testosterone levels checked.
